    Classic Stars Anime Announces April 5 Debut and Cast Members

    A new key visual was also revealed.

    King Amusement Creative announced the new Classic Stars anime will premiere on April 5 at 25:00 (April 6 at 1:00 a.m. JST) on Tokyo MX and BS11 channels. The anime will also stream on U-NEST and Anime Hōdai services in Japan, followed by ABEMA and Amazon Prime Video on April 8.

    In addition, a new key visual was revealed alongside the Classic Stars main cast on the anime’s official website.

    The cast includes:

    • Yūma Uchida as Beethoven
    • Kent Itō as Mozart
    • Shun Abe as Chopin
    • Shōya Ishige as Liszt
    • Taku Yashiro as Lost Beethoven
    • Takuya Satō as Lost Vivaldi
    • Ayumu Murase as Lost Schumann
    • Daisuke Namikawa as Ao Miharagi

    Moreover, Yūma Uchida performs the anime’s opening theme song “Singularist.” Uchida, Itō, Abe, and Ishige perform the ending theme song “BEYOND★CLASSIC.” 

    UNISON and King Records are credited, and Noriyasu Agematsu is credited for original planning and the executive producer role. Akifumi Kaneko is a production supervisor for the anime.

    Hideaki Ōba directs the anime at Platinum Vision, with Shingo Nagai overseeing the series scripts. Agematsu is the music producer, and fellow Elements Gardens members Hitoshi Fujima, Ryōta Tomaru, and Yūsuke Takeda are composing the anime’s music. Yōko Satō is adapting the original character designs for animation.

    Classic Stars takes place at Gloria Private Academy, which nurtures rising stars in music, arts, and sports. The music department implants the “Gift” of famous musicians into the bodies of compatible students who match their talent. Afterward, they are often called by the names of those past musicians, including protagonist Beethoven.
