CTW Inc. has announced that pre-registration for their latest new browser game releasing on G123, Kakegurui ALL IN, is now open. The game is based on the Kakegurui manga and anime series.
The game focuses on a mechanic known as Strategic Sugoroku. The mechanic allows players to roll dice and advance across the board, claiming spaces for themselves. If an opponent lands on that space, you can collect toll fees from them. Every character has different skills, such as the ability to raise toll fees. Further, Kakegurui ALL IN will also support up to 4 players at a time.
The press release describes the game’s premise as follows:
In Kakegurui ALL IN, you will join the students of Hyakkaou Private Academy to challenge the original gamble “Strategic Sugoroku.” This system combines board games and card games, where you can use each character’s skills and collection items to engage in strategic play and aim for victory. Experience the thrill of stealing assets from opponents or having your own taken away.
Two Kakegurui anime are available now on Netflix. The first, simply titled Kakegurui, released in 2017. Season 2 of the anime released in 2019. A spin-off, titled Kakegurui Twin, would release three years later on the streaming service in 2022.
In January 2023, G123 and CTW also released Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest – Rebellion Soul. The browser RPG is described as a “tap-based fantasy RPG set in another world!” In February, they launched Negima Magister Negi Magi – Mahora Panic via an early access campaign.
