Konami recently announced the new Suikoden: Star Leap mobile game for Android and iOS. The new Suikoden: Star Leap game features gacha elements and events, but Suikoden: Star Leap retains the franchise’s signature combat system. Out of 108 stars, players can assemble a “dream team” of their favorite Suikoden heroes for battle.
Aki Shimizu, the manga author for the Suikoden III manga, returns to work on an official Suikoden: Star Leap manga series. Shimizu is also currently working on The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei series, with 10 volumes released so far.
Moreover, Konami announced Suikoden: The Anime, which is an anime adaptation of Suikoden II. Suikoden: The Anime will be the first anime series directly handled by Konami Animation.
