Activision is now displaying teaser ads for the upcoming reveal of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 in Shibuya’s Scramble Crossing. As teased on Twitter/X, the ads contains text stating “Loading… new features.”
The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 ads in Scramble Crossing also lightly reference the Tokyo level from the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 game.
On February 25, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was rated in Singapore, exactly a week before its reveal on March 4. The game was rated for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Before Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was rated, the newly added “Grind” map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 also teased the game’s reveal date. Specifically, Black Ops 6 players can find a poster in the map’s skate shop with same font used for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
On February 18, professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones stated on The Breakfast Club that a new Tony Hawk game remaster is in the works. Jones also said that he will be a playable skater in the upcoming remaster.
“I’m in a Tony Hawk coming out, so that’s cool—they got a new one they’re remastering, so that’s about to come out,” Jones said. “I was [also] in the last one [Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2].”
In September 2024, Tony Hawk confirmed he has renewed conversations with Activision. He discussed plans for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 25th anniversary and said “we’re working on something.”
Lastly, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
