The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 update introduced the fan-favorite “Grind” map, which teases a potential Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 reveal with the date set for March 4.
Black Ops 6 players can find the poster in the skate shop on the Grind map, and the poster has the same font used for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. The March 4 reveal date is a less than subtle hint that the new Tony Hawk game remaster is more than likely Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
On February 18, professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones stated on The Breakfast Club that a new Tony Hawk game remaster is in the works. Jones also said that he will be a playable skater in the upcoming remaster.
“I’m in a Tony Hawk coming out, so that’s cool—they got a new one they’re remastering, so that’s about to come out,” Jones said. “I was [also] in the last one [Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2].”
In September 2024, Tony Hawk confirmed he has renewed conversations with Activision. He discussed plans for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 25th anniversary and said “we’re working on something.”
