Embracer Freemode’s Gioteck brand has released the new FR5 Racing Wheel, which is compatible with PlayStation 5, PC, and even Steam Deck. Players could experience My First Gran Turismo with the FR5 Racing Wheel as their first foray into simulation racing, or upgrade their existing racing and gaming setup to play in Gran Turismo 7, Forza Horizon 5, and other supported titles.
The Gioteck FR5 Racing Wheel is designed to work with the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller to deliver an authentic driving experience in racing games that support motion controls. This means Steam and PlayStation gamers can expect the wheel to be supported on many different games, including My First GT, Gran Turismo 7, F1 2022 – 2024, Forza Motorsport, and Forza Horizon 4 / 5.
The 220-degree steering and auto-centering mechanism, along with the 360-degree ergonomic grip, ensures gamers can take anything from hairpin bends to tough terrain with precision. The wheel snaps back to center to ensure players have complete control of their car. The dual metal bearings offer smooth and frictionless control as well.
What’s more, the FR5 Racing Wheel features three options to suit the player’s preference. It can be secured to any table with the included clamp, enjoyed in comfort with a lap mount, or set up quickly in the grip-only mode. Grip-only mode can be especially useful for gamers wanting to test the wheel out with their Steam Deck.
