NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio released a new trailer for Lies of P: Overture to preview the expansion’s main story. The trailer gives a closer look at Geppetto’s Puppet and the Legendary Stalker Lea.

Lies of P: Overture serves as a prequel to the base game, taking players back to the beginning of the Puppet Frenzy. It will reveal the events that lead to Lies of P, and the gameplay trailer revealed never-before-seen environments, new bosses, and a mysterious guide.
“The narrative in Lies of P: Overture is a tale of vengeance, impending tragedy, and dark secrets that haunt those that wanted them locked away,” said game director Jiwon Choi. “Our players have been eager to learn more about the events that led to the Puppet Frenzy massacre and the collapse of the City of Krat, and we look forward to delivering the truth this summer.”
Lies of P took 2023 by storm while fans were waiting for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio’s title received two nominations at The Game Awards 2023, including “Best Role Playing Game” and “Best Art Direction.” With over seven million players worldwide, it’s no surprise that the game continued to take home awards, including two at the 28th Webby Awards in 2024.
Lastly, Lies of P is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Mac via App Store. Lies of P: Overture launches in summer 2025.
