NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio announced Lies of P: Overture, the highly anticipated DLC expansion for Lies of P. The expansion will launch in summer 2025.
Lies of P: Overture serves as a prequel to the base game, taking players back to the beginning of the Puppet Frenzy. It will reveal the events that lead to Lies of P, and the gameplay trailer revealed never-before-seen environments, new bosses, and a mysterious guide.

“We knew that the end of Lies of P was just the beginning for what our team had in store for fans,” said ROUND8 Studio game director Jiwon Choi. “Lies of P: Overture allows us the opportunity to fully explore the past and present of our universe. We are grateful for our community’s patience as our team took the time to tell the story we’ve always wanted to share.”
Lies of P took 2023 by storm while fans were waiting for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio’s title received two nominations at The Game Awards 2023, including “Best Role Playing Game” and “Best Art Direction.” With over seven million players worldwide, it’s no surprise that the game continued to take home awards, including two at the 28th Webby Awards in 2024.
Lastly, Lies of P is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Mac via App Store.
