Supergiant Games has released a new update for Hades II, titled “The Warsong Update.” The update features Ares, the God of War, and a now complete Olympus run with a new final boss.

The Steam page reveals the major features of the new update:
- Are you prepared for the Final Confrontation on the surface? Discover what lies beyond the Guardian of Olympus… if you dare!
- Meet Ares, the infamous god of war! Gain his varied and vicious Boons to see if you can satisfy his thirst for blood.
- Meditate at the updated Altar of Ashes, featuring all-new art and several reworked Arcana effects! Many other menu screens are also improved.
- Bond with a new Animal Familiar, who will help keep you out of harm’s way! See if you can recruit all five Familiars to your cause.
- Why not sing a duet in the Crossroads as you rest up from a hard night? Look for other new details and interactions!
- Delve deeper into the story, with more than 2,000 new voice lines and new events with most of the game’s cast!
It also states the development progress:
“We’re excited to have launched this Major Update, since it includes numerous ideas we’ve been eager to implement since we started working on Hades II years ago! But we’re not finished yet, and have already made plans for our third Major Update, which we intend to deliver some months from now. Note it’s still too early to share our plans beyond that, including when our v1.0 launch will be.”
Lastly, Hades II, and the new Warsong Update, are available now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
