Sung Jinwoo finally makes the jump to S-rank in Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From The Shadow- episode 19, but he has another tall task ahead of him at the Demon King’s Castle. It’s been a long time coming for this moment in Solo Leveling, and Final Weapon has everything you need to know before the episode 19 premiere.
Solo Leveling episode 18 mostly focused on a thrilling battle between Jinwoo and Kargalgan’s forces in the dungeon, with Cha Hae-in heading inside with miner’s gear. The onslaught of high orcs was overpowering the strike team, with Son Kihoon being slammed into the ground by Kargalgan. However, the fearless Jinwoo came to the rescue, and with Kihoon’s permission, he summons the shadow army to fight off Kargalgan and his orcs.
Kargalgan’s curses don’t have an effect on Jinwoo, so he’s able to fight the orc sorcerer quite effortlessly. Hae-in is quite surprised to see his shadow army in action, and the fight is not meant to last much longer at this point. Despite his magical powers, Kargalgan can’t overpower Jinwoo, and he becomes a thrall by the name of Tusk, serving in the shadow army. At the end of the episode, Choi and Kihoon both agree that Jinwoo is extremely powerful, and Choi wants to recruit him to the guild.

Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- episode 19 will premiere on Saturday, February 15 at 9:30 a.m. PST / 12:30 p.m. EST on Crunchyroll. Episode 19 is officially titled “The 10th S-rank Hunter.” New episodes of the Solo Leveling anime are available with English subs first, with English dubs following up at a later date.

What to Expect in Episode 19
After his reassessment, Jinwoo finally becomes an S-rank Hunter in episode 19. He’s going to be the 10th ever hunter to reach this rank, so it’s quite a moment. The Hunter’s Association has all their eyes on Jinwoo now, and of course Hae-in will be keep a close personal eye after everything that has happened between them.
