SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that a free Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo will release on February 13 at 7:00 a.m. PST / 10:00 a.m. EST. In addition, the Like a Dragon series is collaborating with Dave the Diver this April.
In the Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo, players can explore part of Honolulu and Madlantis, switch between Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles, and enjoy a slew of side content. Specifically, this content includes ship and deck battles in Pirates’ Coliseum, outfit customization, karaoke (three songs), and bounties.
After the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the paid Ichiban’s Holiday DLC for Dave the Diver will be released in April. Ichiban Kasuga, the bartender from Survive, and other characters will appear for a new adventure. Moreover, their vacation will be an eventful one with mini-games, beat ’em up gameplay, and much more.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place six months after Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and focuses on Goro Majima. Waking up on an island without his memories, Majima is saved by a young boy named Noah Rich. After coming to his senses, Majima sets out on an adventure in the Hawaiian waters with Noah to reclaim his memories and uncover treasure. Moreover, the game explores the aftermath of Infinite Wealth, including clean-up at Nele Island.
Lastly, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases February 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In a post-launch update, players will have access to New Game+. With clear data, players can start a new playthrough with bonuses in New Game+.
