The official Japanese Twitter/X account for the Pokémon franchise announced a new anime titled Dragonite and the Mailman. The new anime will premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on Pokémon Day, which is February 27.
The anime focuses on Hana, a girl that admires a Dragonite who serves as a postal worker. When she gets a letter addressed to no one, she sets out to find the sender alongside her Fuecoco. The sender is a boy named Rio, who wants to send the letter to his father in the Kanto region. With his father’s birthday approaching, it seems like he might not be able to receive the letter on time.
