The ESA (Entertainment Software Association) has announced a brand-new event, known as iicon. The Interactive Innovation Conference will be held on April 27-30, 2026. During the event, Attendees will learn from and engage with companies from throughout the industry.
At the moment, the confirmed companies for the very first iteration of iicon are as follows:

- Sony Interactive Entertainment

- Take-Two Interactive
- Ubisoft
- Warner Bros. Games
In a statement, ESA say that “attendees will gain exclusive access to visionary keynotes, engaging discussions and workshops, and elite networking opportunities with executives shaping the future of entertainment, business and technology. iicon promises to bring together a broad spectrum of sectors that converge with interactive entertainment, including film, television and music, as well as sports, healthcare, education, finance and more…

In the past, ESA are known for their work on the Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3. The event was an annual place for video game conferences and news. However, during the COVID era, ESA paused the event. In its place, Geoff Keighley held his own version known as Summer Game Fest. Despite many attempts to return, E3 ended for good after 2023 and Summer Game Fest is now the new industry hub for announcements.
Lastly, ESA will hold the iicon event on April 27-30, 2026 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Las Vegas.
