Dragon Ball Daima Episode 16 Release Date, Time and Where to Watch

    Degesu enters the fray.

    Published:

Although many of Gomah’s Gendarmerie forces have been defeated, Goku and friends are in for another big fight as Degesu enters the fray in Dragon Ball Daima episode 16. Dragon Ball Daima is heading toward its climax soon, and Final Weapon has everything you need to know about the new episode before the premiere.

Dragon Ball Daima episode 15 previously revealed that Hybis has the Third Eye, also known as the Tertian Oculus, on his favorite belt. This is a magical object that was once held by Abura and previous Supreme Demon Kings. In the past, Dabura sent a demon to steal and hide the Third Eye away in order to take the throne, leading to the events of the Majin Buu saga.

The object doesn’t stay in Hybis’ possession for long, however. He trades the belt to a suspicious girl for a hat, while Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo fight off the Gendarmerie at one of their main bases. Panzy’s father also comes to the rescue by dropping bombs on the Gendarmerie. With Gomah pushed to a corner, he sends Degesu and Gendarmerie Force to the forefront, leading into episode 16.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 16 Release Date and Time

Dragon Ball Daima episode 16 will release on Friday, January 31 at 8:45 a.m. PST / 11:45 a.m. EST on Crunchyroll. The new episode is titled “Degesu” and it will be streaming first with English subs. Netflix will stream the new episode one week later on February 7.

Here are the exact release times for the new episode:

    • Pacific Standard Time (PST): 8:45 a.m.
    • Mountain Standard Time (MST): 9:45 a.m.
    • Central Standard Time (CST): 10:45 a.m.
    • Eastern Standard Time (EST): 11:45 a.m.
    • Greenwich Mean Time (GMT): 4:45 p.m.

What to Expect in Episode 16

Degesu is expected to be the star of episode 16 as he intercepts Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the crew. It’s unclear what role Dr. Arinsu will play in this just yet, but she will have to eventually make a move in order to acquire all three Dragon Balls. The Gendarmerie Force will likely back up Degesu, but they don’t appear to be a reliable bunch. This episode should be action-packed, and we will likely learn more about Degesu, too.

At least 20 episodes are reportedly planned with Dragon Ball Daima’s weekly schedule, and you can expect episode 17 to follow up on February 7 on Crunchyroll.
