    Devil May Cry Anime Premieres April 3 on Netflix

    Opening sequence released, features Rollin' by Limp Bizkit.

    Netflix has announced that the upcoming Devil May Cry anime will premiere on April 3. Additionally, they’ve also released the opening sequence for the series. Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin'” will serve as the opening theme. Studio Mir and Adi Shankar will produce the series. Johnny Yong Bosch, the voice of Nero in the Devil May Cry series, will voice Dante in the adaptation.

    Adi Shankar is known for his work as executive producer on the Castlevania anime series. A new spin-off of the series titled Castlevania: Nocturne will premiere tomorrow, September 28. Additionally, Studio Mir is known for several beloved anime series, including Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. They also worked on the recently released My Adventures with Superman. These two creative giants are the perfect choices for bringing the Devil May Cry franchise to the animated medium.

    Capcom released the first Devil May Cry game in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. The game started as a prototype version of Resident Evil 4 before evolving into its own franchise. To date, Capcom has released five entries in the series. Adi Shankar first teased the anime in 2018, around the same time Devil May Cry 5 launched.

    The entire Devil May Cry series is available on most modern consoles. This includes Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4, and the most recent entry, Devil May Cry 5. Five is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The upcoming anime series adapting the Devil May Cry franchise will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
