Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Falcom announced Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter will be released in Asia for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in fall 2025. This release coincides with the worldwide release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter from publisher GungHo Online Entertainment.
The Asia version of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter supports Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean language options with Japanese voice overs, according to the official website. GungHo’s worldwide release features Japanese and English voice-overs with Japanese, English, French, and German language options
In North America, standard editions will be available via Amazon for $59.99. Clear River Games will distribute the standard edition in Europe for €59.99. Limited Run Games will reveal Collector’s Editions at a later date.
Thus far, The Legend of Heroes: Trails series has sold 8.5 million copies worldwide. The Trails series reached this milestone just one month after reaching eight million copies sold on August 9. The sales momentum is due in part to the western release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak. The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, the latest game in the Trails series, released on September 26 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Lastly, the next English release for the series is The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II on February 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store in the west.
