Nihon Falcom revealed new details about characters in The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, including Professor Latoya Hamilton, Yun Ka-fai, Shizuna Rem Misurugi, Kurogane, Celis Ortesia, and Leon Balthazar. New screenshots for each character were revealed on Falcom’s official website for the game as well.
Professor Latoya Hamilton
Professor Latoya Hamilton, voiced by Kikuko Inoue, is the former chief consultant of the Verne Company and honorary professor at the Basel Institute of Science. She’s also one of the top three disciples of C. Epstein, the “Father of the Orbal Revolution.” Her belief that rural and remote regions needed orbments led to her many achievements across the Republic. She treats everyone equally and works tirelessly for others, including countermeasures against the desertification in East Zemuria. She was also involved in the Grendel Zolga incident.
Yun Ka-fai
Yun Ka-fai, voiced by Chiba Shigeru, is the founder of the Eight Leaves One Blade school. He’s a swordsman known as the Sword Hermit. Due to reaching “kotowari,” he may use Tengen Eyes, which lets him see any natural phenomenon in this universe without obstruction. He traves throughout West Zemuria and has trained swordsmen with potential, bestows them the title of Divine Blades. His last disciple is Rean Schwarzer, who is one of many characters returning in The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-. He seems to have a deep connection with Shizuna and the Black God One Blade school.
Shizuna Rem Misurugi
Shizuna Rem Misurugi, voiced by Maaya Uchida, is a master of the Black God One Blade school, the Divine Blade of Silver, and the vice commander of the SSS-level jaeger corps Ikaruga. She wields the onyx odachi, known in the east as the cursed sword Akegarasu. For over a year, she was hidden in the Ishgal mountain range in the east while leading the Ikaruga. She also met Rean while on a top secret mission contracted by the Executive Office. Their blades will clash once more in the Republic.
Kurogane
Shizuna is often accompanied by her second-in-command Kurogane, voiced by Shuta Morishima. He is a shinobi from the east and has the appearance and power of a true warrior. His superhuman body, martial arts, and hidden weapon techniques from the Rougetsu style make him a valuable member of the Ikaruga. He’s often considered the next leader of the Ikaruga, and he’s also well versed in the Black God One Blade style as well.
Celis Ortesia
Celis Ortesia, voiced by Fairouz Ai, is one of the 12 Dominions of the Gralsritter of the Septian Church. She’s the Fourth Dominion, “The Searing.” She is foul-mouthed and quick to glare at anyone who annoys her. She also has mixed feelings towards Van, who was a “secret disciple” of Bergard Zeman. Despite this, she appears to respect Van’s style. Her and Leon Balthazar work with Kevin Graham.
Leon Balthazar
Leon Balthazar, voiced by Soma Saito, is one of the 12 Dominions of the Gralsritter. He is the Eleventh Dominion and is also known as “The Glacial.” He is a pleasant and friendly young man, but he can become ruthless in battle. He’s more skeptical of Van compared to Celis.
