Paramount has announced that the Sonic The Hedgehog 4 film will release on March 19, 2027. The announcement comes alongside the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on digital.

While little details about the film’s story are known, fans can guess where things may be going based on the after-credits for the recent film. Paramount will likely confirm more about the cast and story for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 soon.
Recently, SEGA and Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog 3 reached $425 million in global box office sales. This makes the third film the most successful in the franchise, surpassing the record set by Sonic the Hedgehog 2 at $405 million.
Thus far, the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise has exceed well over $1 billion worldwide. The Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise will likely continue to earn far more than 1 billion dollars in the future. The statistic will further grow with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 in 2027.
