    Published:

Nacon has revealed accessories that they will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch 2 on their official store page. Currently, the accessories are only available on the UK version of the store.

Further, they are not available to pre-order at the moment. They will likely go live around the time when the Nintendo Switch 2 is available to order, which is speculated to be after the Nintendo Direct on April 2.

The accessories on the Nacon site include several carrying cases of varying colors, protective covering, a car charger, a normal charger, and wheel peripherals. The last of which will likely be compatible with the next entry in the Mario Kart franchise. Expect to hear more details about these accessories from Nacon for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the future.

Recently, Nintendo finally revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 via a “first-look trailer.” The trailer showcases the original Switch before transforming into the new hardware. As previous rumors implied, the console has a new stand, new magnetic joycons, a mysterious new button, and a new dock and handheld base.

Further, the trailer teases the next entry in the Mario Kart franchise right at the end. The trailer ends with the following clarification on new Nintendo Switch 2 games and backwards compatibility:

“Plays Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games, as well as Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo Switch 2 plays both physical and digital Nintendo Switch games. Certain Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Details will be shared on the Nintendo website at a later date.”

The showcase direct focused on the console will premiere on April 2. Fans hoping to try the console out can attend the Switch 2 experience, an event that will be held around the world.
