According to the company, it licensed its owned titles to Shinyuden in order to expand its services to western markets where retro games have recently grown in popularity. Edia is also considering plans to sell reprints and remodeled versions of retro game titles from its catalog of 139 former Telenet Japan titles.
Edia recently released the Valis franchise on PC via Steam. They describe Valis II as follows:
With the death of Phantom King Rogles, the parallel world of Vecanti fell into chaos, leaderless and vulnerable. Yuko finds herself caught in the midst of a battle between the forces of Phantom Emperor Megas and the remnants of Rogles’s army. Guided once more by Reiko, Yuko returns to Vecanti to restore order.
In Valis II, all the mysteries from the first game are answered, and new features, such as the ability to select different weapons and armor, are introduced.
Lastly, Final Zone is available now on Nintendo Switch. The release date for the game on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC is currently unknown.
