Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO “Hero of Justice” DLC will release on January 23. The DLC will release on January 20 for Season Pass Holders, giving them early access to 11 playable characters.
The Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO Hero of Justice DLC includes 11 playable characters from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie, a new costume, and three custom battles. These characters include Piccolo (SH) and his subsequent transformations, Gohan (SH) and his transformations, Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Cell Max.

Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO game is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, allowing fans to relive iconic moments from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO DLC 2 will release in Q1 2025 with playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima. DLC 3 release in Q2 2025 with more playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima. Mini Vegeta and Glorio are two of the confirmed DLC characters.
The ongoing Dragon Ball Daima series is the last major anime work that Toriyama was involved in before his passing. Goku, Vegeta, Supreme Kai, and the rest of the crew are turned into children, prompting them to embark on a new adventure in the Demon Realm. New episodes release on Fridays on Crunchyroll and Netflix with English subs, and English dubs would follow in staggered releases.
Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2025 has been canceled as a result of the California wildfires. Further updates will be revealed at a later date for the event’s previously planned tournaments for Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and more.
