    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Is Steam Deck Verified

    Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is Steam Deck Verified, allowing players to experience one of 2024’s biggest RPGs on the go. The development team previously stated they were working to optimize the game for the system, and verification was received just one week before launch.

    A first look at Steam Deck gameplay was shared on the official Final Fantasy VII account:

    In addition to this news, a new PC Graphics Preset trailer was released this morning. This highlights various scenes in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, showcasing how they look on various presets. You can watch that trailer below:

    Director Naoki Hamaguchi and producer Yoshinori Kitase shared the following message on Twitter:

    Pre-orders for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are available now on Epic Games Store and Steam. Before launch, fans who pre-order the game on PC will be able to enjoy a 30% off discount. A bundle featuring Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is also available at a discount for a limited time.

    Fans may also look forward to a third and final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. In a recent interview, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth co-director Motomu Toriyama confirmed that news for Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 should arrive before or around September 2025. That month will mark the second anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now for PlayStation 5, and it’s an official PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced title.
