According to Video Games Chronicle, several details for the unannounced and rumored The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake have leaked. The first reports of the game initially surfaced in an FTC document, alongside the previously announced Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages.

Based on the leak, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be remade from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. Further, Bethesda will reportedly rework six gameplay systems: stamina, sneaking, blocking, archery, hit reaction and HUD. Supposedly, the developers have taken inspiration from Souls-like games for improvements to the blocking system. The release date for the remake is currently unknown. That said, the leak states that it will release in June 2025.
