From Software and Bandai Namco have announced that a network test for Elden Ring Nightreign will be held in February. Registration for the event is available on Bandai Namco‘s website from today until January 20. The schedule for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test is as follows:
- Session 1: Feb 14th, 3am to 6 am PDT
- Session 2: Feb 14th, 7pm to 10 pm PDT
- Session 3: Feb 15th, 11am to 2pm PDT
- Session 4: Feb 16th, 3am to 6 am PDT
- Session 5: Feb 16th, 7pm to 10 pm PDT
Bandai Namco initially announced Elden Ring Nightreign during The Game Awards. The first trailer showcases the newly revitalized multiplayer gameplay, as well as characters from other From Software games such as the Dark Souls franchise. The official Bandai Namco website describes the upcoming game as follows:
“ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a standalone adventure within the ELDEN RING universe, crafted to offer players a new gaming experience by reimagining the game’s core design.
Take command of uniquely skilled heroes, each possessing their own abilities and distinct flair. While individually formidable, their skills create powerful synergies when they unite as a team. Overcome a relentless environmental threat that sweeps through a land that changes between each game session and defeat the magnificent boss of that night!”
Previously, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware revealed that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has reached five million players less than one week after launch. Despite its somewhat divisive reception due to its difficulty, its safe to say that Shadow of the Erdtree is a major hit. Lastly, Elden Ring is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Elden Ring Nightreign will release in 2025.
