According to a recent podcast, director Andy Muschietti has announced that his Shadow of the Colossus film adaptation is still in development. While the release date for the film is unknown, as well as details on its cast and story, the script for the movie is supposedly finished. Muschietti will likely confirm more details about the film’s future in the coming months.
Andy Muschietti has previously worked on the It film franchise and the infamous The Flash film in 2023. His next confirmed film will highlight Batman and is titled Brave and the Bold. However, the status of the film is in question as there has been no news about either a release date or a script. Muschietti may be stepping away from the project to instead focus on Shadow of the Colossus.
