TAITO confirmed that a new entry in the Groove Coaster rhythm game series for Nintendo Switch will be revealed during the Groove Coaster Series New Title Announcement event on January 30 at 19:30 JST.
The upcoming event will feature the Groove Coaster Switch game announcement and a talk show and mini DJ performance. Presenters for the event include host Moe Toyota, voice actor Reiji Kawashima, composer Ryu-san, producer Takumi Hanagata, and MASAKI from ZUNTATA.
TAITO is hosting a lottery to invite 50 fans based in Tokyo or willing to travel there to attend the event. Attendees will receive a Groove Coaster special good set featuring a music download card, stickers, and much more.
The previous game in the series is Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party for Nintendo Switch, released in November 2019. Here’s an overview of the game, via the Nintendo eShop:

You can choose from two types of battle rules: “Casual”, which you can enjoy even if there is a difference in ability, and “Hardcore”, where you can compete for your true ability!
