Legendary Entertainment and Funcom announced that new MMORPG Dune: Awakening will support the new Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation technology on PC. This technology can be enabled on new Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, which launch this month with the RTX 5090 and 5080.
Nvidia’s DLSS 4 allows PC gamers to explore the world of Dune: Awakening at very high frame rates while maintaining a high resolution. In certain instances, using DLSS 4 can help the game exceed 300 frames per second (FPS) in 4K, thanks to Multi Frame Generation. The technology will boost the frame rate into the 200s in many instances, as shown in the comparison video from Nvidia.
Funcom also confirmed that Dune: Awakening will feature Razer’s next-gen Chroma and Haptics integration. This means that the game provides feedback through synced lightning and the suite of Razer’s haptic feedback devices, including the Freyja HD haptic gaming cushion and Kraken Pro headset.
The flagship RTX 50 series GPU, the RTX 5090, will be available on January 30 alongside the RTX 5080. The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 GPUs will both launch this February. Nvidia will release Founders Edition models of the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 worldwide. Stock and factory-overclocked variants of all four GPUs will be available from top board partners such as ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY and ZOTAC. System builders like Northwest, Maingear, Origin PC, and more will feature the GPU in their builds.
Lastly, Dune: Awakening launches in early 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
