Marvel Rivals Reveals Invisible Woman Trailer and New Costumes

Invisible Woman gets a "Malice" costume while Reed gets a "The Maker" suit.

NetEase and Marvel have released a new trailer for Marvel Rivals, showcasing the Invisible Woman. The character will be available Friday, alongside Season 1. Mr. Fantastic will also be available this Friday. Both him and Invisible Woman will get a costume alongside their release: The Maker and Malice. Further, the other two members of the Fantastic Four (Human Torch and The Thing) will release later on in the game’s first season. Marvel Rivals Season 1 will start on January 10 at 4 AM EDT.

The trailer for the Invisible Woman describes her as follows:

“Cosmic rays altered Susan Storm on a cellular level, granting her the ability to generate impenetrable force fields and to make herself fade from sight in an instant. Despite her frequent lack of visibility, it has always been perfectly clear that Sue is the force holding her family – the Fantastic Four – together. After the Timestream Entanglement, the Invisible Woman has taken full advantage of her powers, using stealth to explore locations too dangerous for her fellow heroes, especially going on rescue missions for civilians trapped by the creatures of the night.”

    About Marvel Rivals Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1 will start on January 10 at 4 AM EDT. The season will be titled “Eternal Night Falls” and will focus on vampires such as Dracula. Only time will tell if the season will also include one of the most iconic vampires in history: Blade. Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch will be duelists (attack), The Thing will be a vanguard (Tank), and the Invisible Woman will be a strategist.

Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman will release first on January 10. The Thing and Human Torch will be added later on. Additionally, a new mode will release, titled “Doom Match.” According to a press release, 8 to 12 players will battle on a single map, each belonging to a different faction, with all factions being hostile to each other. Players can earn points by knocking out enemies, and at the end of the match, the top 50% of players by default will be considered the winning side. A new seasonal event will also be available, titled Midnight Features.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Check out our review of Marvel Rivals here, where we call the game “a masterful multiplayer title with infinite potential.”
