Bandai Namco and Tamsoft released a new trailer for Bleach Rebirth of Souls to highlight Shinji Hirako’s move-set. Shinji is a strategist who is good at reading opponents and using trickery to his advantage.
In Bleach Rebirth of Souls, Shinji is able to counter opponents with swift and precise slash, thanks to his Zanpakuto Sakanade. Shinji can also summon Hiyori to support him in battle and create some space between him and his opponent. However, he can also be left wide open for attack if his moves and tricks aren’t used effectively.

The previous Bleach: Rebirth of Souls trailer highlighted Shinji Hirako’s backstory, including his friendship with then-Captain Kisuke Urahara and his eventual exile from the Soul Society. Shinji is the recruiter and leader of Visored, and he was the former Captain of the 5th Division before a faithful battle with Sosuke Aizen. The trailer ends with his battles in the Arrancar Arc in-engine, including his epic battle with Aizen.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls covers the events of the manga and anime series up to the end of the Arrancar Arc. In battle, players must knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1v1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. Players can unleash combos to destroy multiple konpaku at once. Enter an awakened state and unleash a special move by accumulating Fighting Spirit.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls launches on March 21, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
