During Jump Festa 2025, Bandai Namco and Tamsoft released a new trailer for Bleach Rebirth of Souls to reveal Shinji Hirako as a playable character. Shinji is the recruiter and leader of Visored, and he was the former Captain of the 5th Division before a faithful battle with Sosuke Aizen.
The new Bleach: Rebirth of Souls trailer highlights Shinji Hirako’s backstory, including his friendship with then-Captain Kisuke Urahara and his eventual exile from the Soul Society. The trailer ends with his battles in the Arrancar Arc in-engine, including his epic battle with Aizen.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls covers the events of the manga and anime series up to the end of the Arrancar Arc. In battle, players must knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1v1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. Players can unleash combos to destroy multiple konpaku at once. Enter an awakened state and unleash a special move by accumulating Fighting Spirit.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls launches on March 21, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now live with the Thousand-Year Blood War costume set as an added bonus. Alongside the Standard Edition, there will be a Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Ultimate Edition.
