The Jump Festa 2025 stage event announced that Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Season 2 will premiere in April 2025. It also confirmed that Nao Tōyama will voice the character Riku Tamanaha, who makes their arrival in the second season. Both Inori Minase and Takuma Terashima reprise their roles as Reina Aharen and Raidō.

Asato Mizu first serialized the Aharen-san wa Hakarenai manga on Shonen Jump+ in January 2017. The manga series ran for six years and ended in April 2023. The first season of the anime began in April 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime series with an English dub.
