Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Anime Premieres in July 2025

During Jump Festa 2025, a new key visual was released to confirm that the Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 anime will premiere in July 2025. The anime will air on TV Tokyo and affiliate channels, and it will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll.

As previously announced, Kōki Uchiyama joins the anime series as Gen Harumi in the second season. Before the Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 anime premieres, a compilation film will cover the entire first season. The compilation film will be available for just three weeks only in participating theaters in Japan starting March 28, but it will screen worldwide at some point. Moreover, it will feature the new “Hoshina’s Day Off” original episode.

Yūto Tsukuda is the writer for the compilation film’s new episode, and Yuichiro Kido is the scriptwriter. OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Invincible” for the new original episode.
