The Jump Festa 2025 stage revealed the anime adaptation of Taizan 5’s Takopi’s Original Sin manga will premiere in 2025. A new trailer for the upcoming anime series was released as well.

Kurumi Mamiya stars as Takopi alongside Reina Ueda and Shizuka Kuze in Takopi’s Original Sin. Former Dr. Stone director Shinya Iino is directing the new Takopi’s Original Sin anime and overseeing the series scripts. Keita Nagahara is the character designer, and ENISHIYA is producing the anime series.
Taizan 5 serialized the Takopi’s Original Sin manga in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in December 2021 and ran for just four months, ending in March 2022. The Takopi’s Original Sin manga is available to read in English on Manga Plus.
