Player First Games revealed the MultiVersus gameplay trailer for Marceline from Adventure Time. She will release on December 17 as DLC, following the release of DC superhero Raven. Both characters are a part of the season 4 pass.
In MultiVersus, Marceline is a Bruiser character that debuts alongside her “Candy Kingdom” map. She uses her bass guitar axe and rhythm-based moves to dominate opponents. Her trailer below highlights her combo-heavy style, vampire bat transformation, and reveals Sun Hat and Distant Lands variants.
Moreover. Marceline’s release will come with Rogue Rifts, a new twist on Rifts mode where players must complete a gauntlet of five nodes with a limited number of daily attempts. The first Rogue Rift will be available from January 14, 2025 to February 4, 2025, and players will have the chance to earn the Abominable Mountaineer Jason character variant upon each completion of the challenge.
MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighter featuring an all-star cast of iconic characters. It invites players into an expansive universe where iconic characters from different realms collide. In this free-to-play game, players can engage in intense 2v2 battles, choosing from many characters like Batman, Shaggy, LeBron James, and Rick and Morty. Beetlejuice is the recent inclusion to the game after Samurai Jack.
Moreover, each character has unique abilities that dynamically complement one another. There are also maps for each character, such as Batman’s Batcave and the Treefort of Jake and Finn. Furthermore, MultiVersus offers a variety of play modes, including 1v1 duels and a 4-Player Free For All.
