The beloved animation company, Aardman, has recently announced that they will be collaborating with The Pokémon Company on a new project. The project will release in 2027 and will bring Aardman’s story and style to the world of Pokémon. Aardman has created Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, and even an episode of Star Wars: Visions.
In a press release, Taito Okiura, VP of Marketing and Media at The Pokémon Company International, states the following:
“This is a dream partnership for Pokémon. Aardman are masters of their craft, and we have been blown away by their talent and creativity. What we have been working on together ensures our global Pokémon fans are in for a treat!”
Further, Sean Clarke, Managing Director of Aardman, added:

Both Aardman and The Pokémon Company will reveal more details about their next project. The most recent Pokémon series, Pokémon Horizons and Pokémon Concierge, are available now on Netflix.
