SEGA announced the collaboration between free-to-play online action RPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Melty Blood: Type Lumina is now live with the latest update.
The December 4 update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis brings the second Melty Blood: Type Lumina collaboration. Outfits, hairstyles, accessories, and other avatar items for Miyako Arima, Dead Apostle Noel, and Powered Ciel may be acquired from the Melty Blood Style ’24 AC Scratch Ticket.
Logging in to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis during the collaboration period grants login bonuses, including Special Scratch Tickets, SG, and GP. You can also earn acrylic stand Build Parts of Shiki Tohno, Akiha Tohno, Ciel, Arcueid, NecoArc, Arima Miyako, Dead Apostle Noel, and Powered Ciel. There’s also weapon camo, Mag Form, Line Strike cards, sleeves, play mats, and other rewards to earn, including an ARKS ID background modeled after Neco-Arc.













Next week, Super Genesis Festival ’24 on December 10 begins as a celebration of the game’s 3.5-year anniversary. Central City will be decorated for the holiday season, and players can encounter Reindeer Rappy, Saint Emperappy, and Saint Great Rappy while exploring. The Seasonal Points Exchange Shop brings festive decorations as well.
The next collaboration for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis begins in January with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. The collab will feature new avatar items, Build Parts, and much more. More details will come in the next episode of NGS Headline at the end of December.
