Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble NIJISANJI, Godzilla and Hatsune Miku DLC Revealed

    The biggest content update yet.

SEGA announced that Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is getting NIJISANJI, Godzilla, and Hatsune Miku collaboration DLC, along with the major 2.00 update. The new update will bring a lot of new content for free, including additional stages for Adventure Mode.

NIJISANJI, Godzilla and Hatsune Miku DLC

Firstly, the NIJISANJI UKIUKI CUP Outfit Set will be available as free DLC for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble starting November 26 in the Nintendo eShop. The DLC includes a NIJISANJI UKIUKI CUP logo t-shirt, a monkey ball with the logo, and a costume inspired by Saegusa Akina from NIJISANJI.

That same day, Godzilla and Hatsune Miku will arrive as paid DLC characters in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. While playing as Godzilla, banana pickups are replaced by trains. On the other hand, playing as Hatsune Miku replaces banana pickups with musical notes.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Update 2.00

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble update 2.00 will arrive alongside the new DLC with a new multiplayer mode called Super Punchy Brawl. In Battle Mode’s Super Punchy Brawl, players knock opponents off the map with a big boxing glove. Rolling over panels will make your boxing gloves stronger with up to two stacks. The player with the most points wins.

The update also adds a new stage to Banana Hunt, along with several gameplay adjustments and new content additions for Adventure Mode. Time Attack now includes a new Banana Bonus option, the No Miss Challenge lets players attempt a one-life run in Adventure Mode, and Super Speed makes the monkey balls roll even faster.

Moreover, the new Monkey See feature will be available, allowing players to enjoy gameplay from inside the ball. Those wanting to test their skills may also take on new Ultimate EX stages in Adventure Mode. A quick retry feature has been added so that players can immediately restart without pausing as well.

While playing with friends in Adventure Mode, you will no longer need to disband the room while going between worlds. There’s also a character selection randomization feature, a bulk purchase feature, color options for player names, the ability to carry over save data from the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble demo, and much more.

Lastly, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is available now for Nintendo Switch.
