Capcom announced that Resident Evil 2 remake is heading to the latest Apple devices, including iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPad and Mac devices with M1 chip or later. Players may also test out the game with a free download, serving as a demo.
Capcom confirms that Resident Evil 2 on Apple supports the Universal Purchase feature and cross-progression. These features allow players to re-download the game and continue from where they off across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, since and transfer save data between devices.
Resident Evil 2 on iPhone and iPad includes enhanced controls, along with the new Auto Fire feature. Auto Fire lets players automatically fire weapons after aiming at enemies for a short time. The game also supports a various of controllers on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, including PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller.
