Kodansha has announced that they will be releasing physical editions of the first volume of the OMORI manga. They will be available on November 21. While the physical release will only be in Japanese, a localized version of the OMORI manga likely be available soon.
The OMORI manga was announced back in November 2023 to celebrate the game’s third anniversary.Fans were surprised to see Kodansha, a leading publisher and manga distributor, chosen to be the one to release the new manga with Konoito as the illustrator. Kodansha started releasing the series in June 2024. More issues will release in the coming weeks and months.
The OMORI Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order right now at Fangamer for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 for $84. The Collector’s Edition includes a physical copy of the game and several intriguing items, including a special hidden item.
OMORI first launched on December 25, 2020 for Mac and PC via Windows, and the Japanese release followed up on December 19, 2021. OMORI would finally come to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in 2022, marking the game’s console debut. To date, the game has sold over one million copies and garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike.
