Kodansha has officially announced that a manga based on the hit RPG, OMORI, is in-development. It will be published in Monthly Afternoon. A release date is currently unknown.
OMORI is an RPG inspired by the likes of Earthbound, Yume Nikki, and Off. It first launched on December 25, 2020 for Mac and PC via Windows. The Japanese release would follow up one year later on December 19, 2021. OMORI would finally come to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in 2022, marking the game’s console debut. To date, the game has sold over one million copies and garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike.
OMORI Manga Details
Recently, manga publishing company Kodansha officially announced that a manga based on OMORI is in-development. Little information about the manga is known, except for the fact that Nui Konoito will be illustrating the series in Monthly Afternoon. Kodansha will likely reveal more details soon, including an exact release date for the first chapter of the manga series.
