Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid Is Heading to Blu-ray on December 10

The English Blu-ray release is finally here.

Aniplex of America announced that the English Blu-ray of Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid will be available exclusively on the Crunchyroll Store starting December 10. Pre-orders are officially now open, though the exclusive discount is not live yet.

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid immediately follows the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out film. Here, Mai has officially graduated high school and is preparing to embark on a journey to college. Sakuta and Kaede also move forward, rekindling the relationship they once had with their mother. However, once again, Puberty Syndrome plays a role in this story.

In line with previous Aobuta and Aniplex Blu-ray releases, this movie contains an outer box, the Blu-ray, and a special booklet containing illustrations, storyboard artwork, and more. Both the Japanese and English dubs will be available on the disc. Crunchyroll Store describes this Blu-ray as the following:

“People like that… are called grown-ups.

Another tear-jerking and heart-gripping chapter of the Rascal Does Not Dream series produced by CloverWorks. Available in both Japanese and English audio. After overcoming various hardships, Mai has graduated high school and is preparing to enter a new chapter of her life. Meanwhile, Sakuta and Kaede are also taking a step forward and have decided to visit their mother after being apart for so long… This film features the heart-moving moment of a family finally being reunited again after overcoming hardships.
