At New York Comic Con, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on January 30, 2025. This comes just about a year after the release of the game, where it launched exclusively for PlayStation 5.
No new features have been announced as of now, but we can expect the port to be very similar to previous PlayStation ports, especially both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This includes features like PC optimized graphics with NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR support, improved ray-tracing features, ultra-wide monitor support, and custom controls. In a post on PlayStation Blog, Insomniac Games confirmed that there are no plans for any DLC or new story content for Spider-Man 2. However, it was confirmed that the PC release will launch with the following new features:
- All the latest updates since Marvel Spider-Man 2’s PS5 launch, including:
- 14 new suits
- New Game+
- Ultimate Levels
- New Symbiote Suit Styles
- Time of Day options
- Post-Game Achievements
- Action Figure Mode in Photo Mode
- Screen Reader and Audio Descriptions
