Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO Players Streamed Over 78 Million Minutes on Discord

Incredible engagement during Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO's launch weekend.

Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO sales are off to an incredible start, but it also appears that engagement on Discord is just as impressive following launch.

Since October 11, Discord users have streamed 78 million minutes of Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO to their friends in the first three days, according to Discord consumer communications manager Jeremy Meyers. This data surpasses that of fighting games like Tekken 8 and Mortal Kombat 1, and other Dragon Ball games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, on Discord during a same three-day window. During a three-day period since launch, Discord users also played over 228 million minutes of Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO as well.

Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO is the fastest selling Dragon Ball game of all time, with over three million copies sold in the first 24 hours. That number has likely grown by a substantial amount since the launch this past Friday, so another update from Bandai Namco is expected soon.

Sales and engagement for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will surely grow over time. The game will also receive three DLC packs with the Season Pass. DLC 1 and DLC 2 will release in Q1 2025, focusing on playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima, respectively. DLC 3 release in Q2 2025 with more playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima.

Secretlab recently revealed a new Dragon Ball Z Goku Edition of their signature TITAN Evo gaming chair, featuring an incredible design inspired by Goku’s iconic gi. The chair is available right now at Secretlab, starting at $644.

Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon previewed Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO at Summer Game Fest 2024 Play Days, and you can watch our exclusive gameplay footage on YouTube.
