Genki has released a new clip for Tokyo Xtreme Racer, showcasing the Toyota GR86 (ZN8). They previously released a clip showcasing the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (BNR34). The Tokyo Xtreme Racer developers will likely showcase more cars in the coming weeks. Check out the new clip below:
The Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, began in 1994 with Shutoko Battle ’94 for the Super Famicom. In 1999, a sequel was released for the Dreamcast. In 2003, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 releasing for the PlayStation 2. The most recent entry in the series is 2006’s Import Tuner Challenge for the Xbox 360.
Lastly, Tokyo Xtreme Racer is coming to PC via Steam in 2025, and console versions were not announced. Here’s an official description of the game, via the official Steam page:

Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be available on PC via Steam in 2025. Genki will likely reveal more details about the upcoming game in the coming months. It is currently unknown if it will be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
