NBC Universal has confirmed that season 2 of Mission: Yozakura Family is in development. They’ve also released a short video confirming the season. The first season, which recently ended earlier today, is available to watch on both Disney Plus and Hulu. Check out the video confirming season 2 of Mission: Yozakura Family below:
Hitsuji Gondaira wrote Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019. The series has been ongoing ever since, with Shueisha and Viz Media publishing the series in territories around the world. NBC Universal initially announced the anime in the last week of February 2024. Later, Disney announced that they would air the anime on Hulu and Disney Plus. The anime initially premiered on April 7.

Shueisha has the entire series thus far on its MANGA Plus service. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series. The former describes it as follows:
