    Until Dawn Movie Adaptation Filming Finished

    David F. Sandberg, the director of the upcoming Until Dawn movie adaptation, has announced that they have wrapped filming on the upcoming release. The release date for the film is currently unknown. The cast includes the returning Peter Stormare as Dr. Hill, as well as Odessa A’zion, Maia Mitchell, Michael Cimino, Ella Rubin, Ji-young Yoo, and more in undisclosed roles.

    Supermassive Games initially released Until Dawn on the PlayStation 4 in 2015. The game features an interactive story where every decision has consequences. Over the years, Supermassive Games has released more interactive stories like The Quarry. Likewise, PlayStation Studios has also released several movie adaptations of their biggest video games, such as Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, and The Last of Us.

    The original game featured the likes of Rami Malek, Brett Dalton, Jordan Fisher, and Hayden Panettiere. It is unknown if any of them will be making their return. David F. Sandberg will be directing the upcoming film. Sandberg is previously known for his work on DC’s Shazam movies, as well as Annabelle: Creation. Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter behind franchises such as It, Annabelle and The Nun, will be doing a pass on the script written by Blair Butler, who previously wrote Sony’s vampire thriller, The Invitation

    The upcoming Until Dawn film will premiere at some point in the coming years. Additionally, the recent remastered version of the original Until Dawn game is available now on the PlayStation 5 and PC.
