During Tokyo Game Show 2024 and Convergence Games Showcase, Kakehashi Games and Bandai Namco Studios Singapore announced Hirogami, a new 3D action platformer for PC via Steam. The new title is planned to release in 2025, and you can wishlist it now on the game’s Steam page.
The development team for Hirogami at Bandai Namco Studios Singapore includes industry veterans from that worked on major Bandai Namco titles, including those responsible for production, design, and art for Ace Combat 7 and Tekken 8.

It’s worth noting that console versions of Hirogami were not announced, and more news will be revealed on the Kakehashi Games Twitter account soon. Lastly, here’s an overview of the new title:
In Hirogami, players will explore a beautiful origami world as Hiro, a fan-wielding master of the art of ‘folding’. They’ll explore every nook and cranny to discover hidden secrets, unfolding into a sheet of paper to ride fiery updrafts, or becoming a paper plane to traverse dangerous chasms.
Players will also discover new forms to help them traverse the world, solve puzzles, and best their foes. Roll through obstacles and enemies alike as a hardy armadillo, traverse the treetops and pound pests as a mighty ape, and leap to previously unreachable heights as a formidable frog.
And everything is encompassed in a soothing soundscape – composed using traditional Japanese instruments and styles – specially crafted to evoke the variety of themes, characters and settings of Hirogami.
