Bandai Namco announced Tekken 8 DLC character Heihachi Mishima will release on October 3 as paid content. Heihachi will be available four days earlier on September 30 for Character Year 1 Pass owners.
On September 30, a new Tekken 8 update will be released alongside early access for Heihachi Mishima. The update will add the story chapter “Unforgotten Echoes” for The Dark Awakens.
Fans can expect more information about Heihachi during Tekken Talk Live on September 24 at 10:00 a.m. PST / 1:00 p.m. EST. This stream will be hosted by producer Katsuhiro Harada, producer Michael Murray, director Kohei Ikeda, and chief director Naoya Yasuda on Twitch and YouTube. It will be archived for viewing as well

Bandai Namco recently unveiled the roadmap for the rest of season 1 for Tekken 8. Many free updates will arrive throughout the year, and brand-new characters will also be introduced. Heihachi Mishima arrives this fall, so stay tuned. Players can also expect a new chapter of The Dark Awakens storyline in Tekken 8 via a free update.
