    Ghost of Yōtei Announced, Releasing in 2025

    The legacy of the Ghost continues.

    Sucker Punch has announced Ghost of Yōtei, the next entry in the Ghost of Tsushima franchise. The sequel will take place almost 400 years after the original, in the year 1603.

    The setting is near the Japanese mountain Mount Yōtei. Further, it will focus on Atsu, a new Ghost carrying on the legacy of her predecessor, Jin Sakai. The trailer briefly hints at Atsu’s capabilities, including a gun and a trademark katana. Erika Ishii, known for her role as Sektor in the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expansion and Ana Bray in Destiny 2, will play Atsu. The game will release on the PlayStation 5 in 2025.

    In 1603, a new Ghost named Atsu sets out on a journey in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei, an area filled with sprawling grasslands, snowy tundras, and unexpected dangers. Ghost of Yōtei comes to PS5 in 2025.
