Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut to Support Trophies on PC

    Trophies at last.

Sony announced new details on the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC Release today on PS Blog. For the first time ever, you can unlock trophies while playing one of PlayStation’s games on PC. This will be a shared list with PS5, so if you’ve already earned the Platinum Trophy on PS5, you’ll have it on PC.

PlayStation Trophies Coming to PC with PlayStation Overlay

These trophies will be viewable as part of the new PlayStation Overlay, which will let you link your PlayStation account and view things such as your Profile, Friends, Trophies, and more. Accessing the overlay is as simple as pressing SHIFT+F1. You can take a look at the new overlay below:

Achievements on Steam or the Epic Games Store will work as they have in the past, so you can earn two sets of achievements at once now. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will not require you to use the overlay if you don’t want to, so you can enjoy the campaign and the multiplayer Legends mode without linking.

New Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC Features

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut Coming to PC on May 16

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is fully optimized to take advantage of PC hardware. That includes ultrawide support, with both 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions supported. Additionally, 48:9 and triple monitor set-ups will run seamlessly with the game.

The port supports DLSS 3, FSR 3, XeSS, DLAA, and FSR 3 Native AA. You can expect a high-quality experience similar to the ports of Spider-Man RemasteredGod of War, and The Last of Us Part I

Another major feature of this release is cross-play support with Legends mode. This multiplayer mode pits together four players against different enemies and challenges, so PC users can play together with both PS4 and PS5 players.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut launches on May 16 for PC. The game is available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
